Alternative Republic of Weimar

Alternate history:

Weimar National Assembly is very divided in 1919. However, they took these alternative Solomon-like decisions:

• The new official name will be Föderation der Deutschen Freistaaten (Federation of German Free States).
  
• Prussia will be split up into several states because it's too large.
  
• All city-states, microstates, enclaves and exclaves will be removed.
  
• The capital city of the federation will be Weimar, a city in central area, like Madrid in Spain, and a federal district (Busdesdistrikt) will be created.
  

So, here you have the state flags and the map including all capital cities. I write some explanations about which territories are included in each state (referring states and provinces from OTL initial Republic of Weimar):

• Schleswig-Holstein: Prussian province of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg (that becomes its capital city), Lübeck and neighbouring exclave that was part of Oldenburg.
  

• Oldenburg: Oldenburg without exclaves.
  

• Hanover (Hannover): Prussian province of Hanover, Bremen, part of Braunschweig, part of Anhalt and exclave of Pyrmont (that was part of Waldeck-Pyrmont).
  

• Westphalia (Westfalen): Prussian province of Westphalia, Lippe and Schaumburg-Lippe.
  

• Rhineland (Rheinland): Prussian Rhine province (Rheinprovinz) [without exclave of Wetzlar] and exclave of Birkenfeld (that was part of Oldenburg).
  

• Hesse-Nassau (Hessen-Nassau): Prussian province of Hesse-Nassau, exclave of Wetzlar (that was part of Prussian Rhine province), Waldeck (Waldeck-Pyrmont without Pyrmont) and exclave of Upper Hesse (Oberhessen) [that was part of Free State of Hesse].
  

• Starkenburg-Palatinate (Starkenburg-Pflaz): Free State of Hesse (without exclave of Upper Hesse) and exclave of Palatinate (that was part of Bavaria).
  

• Baden: Baden from OTL.
  

• Württemberg: Württemberg and Prussian province of Hohenzollern.
  

• Mecklenburg: Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
  

• Pomerania (Pommern): Prussian province of Pomerania.
  

• East Prussia (Ostpreußen): Prussian province of East Prussia.
  

• Central Saxony (Mittelsachsen): Prussian province of Saxony (Sachsen), part of Braunschweig, part of Anhalt and part of Ernestine duchies.
  

• West Prussia (Westpreußen): Prussian provinces of Berlin, Brandenburg and Posen-West Prussia (except Fraustadt area).
  

• Thuringia (Thüringen): Part of Ernestine duchies that formed Thuringia in OTL.
  

• Upper Saxony (Obersachsen): Free State of Saxony from OTL.
  

• Silesia (Schlesien): Prussian province of Lower Silesia (Niederschlesien), Prussian province of Upper Silesia (Oberschlesien) and Fraustadt area that was part of Prussian province of Posen-West Prussia.
  

• Bavaria (Bayern): Bavaria and some exclaves of Ernestine duchies.
  

In addition, the federal district of Weimar would be established. It would be a large area, the District Weimar (Weimarer Kreis) without exclaves from Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. It would adopt its flag too. All other flags are taken from OTL, except flags of Starkenburg-Palatinate and Thuringia, created by me.

Map is quite similar to current OTL Germany's map but not identical.
